Top Stone was founded in 1999 by Marius and Anca Berindei, as an architectural design and consultancy company. The company offers quality design services and it has committed itself to having a relationship based on mutual respect, fairness, honesty and integrity with its customers.
Continuing the tradition of the company, Top Stone remains a family business where almost all of the family is involved in its development, respecting the assumed principles.
In time we have developed into a multidisciplinary team and we consider all of our employees as part of our own family.
Within the company, we have a working environment which is open to both clients and employees. All initiatives, proposals and problems are solved in a transparent way by joint efforts.

Marius Berindei
Founder
MARIUS BERINDEI – alongside ANCA BERINDEI, is one of the founders of Top Stone, the company that started its journey back in 1999.
From 1976 to 1993 he worked as a designer for industrial spaces as well as logistics and warehousing.
He specialized in the development and design of factories in the food industry.
Marius has worked at the Institute of Studies and Design for Construction in Agriculture and Food Industry since 1976.
Anca Berindei
Founder
ANCA BERINDEI, also a founder of the company, is working in the financial department of Top Stone. She has a 30 year career in the financial field and has been working at Top Stone since 1999.
As a financial expert, Anca deals with the company’s administrative and fiscal responsibilities.
Răzvan Berindei
Senior Architect
RĂZVAN BERINDEI started working in the company in 2004, when he was studying at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest.
He completed his studies and obtained the architect diploma in 2006, working continuously within the company.
Starting with 2015, Răzvan took over the company’s leading position as a senior architect.
Bogdan Mihalcea
Architect
BOGDAN MIHALCEA is a young architect who earned his architectural diploma in 2016 at the “Spiru Haret” Architecture University in Bucharest.
He has been working in the company since 2016 and, thanks to his special technical abilities, gained a rich experience in a very short time.
Bogdan has been involved in a wide range of architectural, residential, commercial, industrial and logistics programs.
Dan Munteanu
Senior Architect
DAN MUNTEANU has been an architect since 2006 and thanks to his technical and organizational capabilities, he works in the company in architectural design and technical consultancy as a Senior Architect.
He is mainly involved in industrial, technical and storage projects.
Mădălina Berindei
Urban Planner Architect
MĂDĂLINA BERINDEI obtained a diploma in Urban Architecture in 2007 at the “Ion Mincu“ University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest and in 2009 she obtained the architect diploma at the “Spiru Haret” University in Bucharest.
Since 2016 Mădălina certifies as an Energy Auditor in Constructions, certified by the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration.
In our company, Mădălina works as an urban planner architect. She is mostly involved in urban projects like Zonal Urban Plans and Detail Urban Plans.
Mădălina helps the architects to develop the project and the design of the building as energy efficient as possible.
Robert Sîrbu
Sales and negotiation
ROBERT SÎRBU is a mentor in sales and negotiation, a business trainer.
Robert started his professional activity at the age of 18 in a market research agency. His subsequent experience at Saatchi & Saatchi helped him to have an overview of marketing.
In 2007 Robert Sîrbu began his real estate business as a real estate broker at Arco Real Estate. He worked as a developer and also as an international real estate agency. In just a few months he became the manager of the residential department and the country manager for cross-selling.
Robert offers real estate consultancy services to Romanian and foreign investors.
From the very beginning of a collaboration with a new client, Robert is alongside the company’s architects in order to help the client find the most efficient solution for the project, in order to satisfy customer’s needs.
Knowing the Romanian real estate market, Robert along with the client chooses the location of the investment and the business plan.
Based on his knowledge, depending on the collaboration with the client and the type of the project, he can also take care of the realization of the real estate project and the capitalization of it.
Sorin Dimitrievici
Resistance Engineer
SORIN DIMITRIEVICI is a resistance engineer with a 35 year experience in the design of building structure. He specializes in the design of reinforced concrete and metal structures.
Since 2010, Sorin has become, thanks to his professional performances, an Authorized Structure Project Verifier and is certified by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration in Romania.

TECHNOLOGY WE USE
The Top Stone experts use the most advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to produce 2D and 3D virtual building designs.
Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) projects developed with the BIM software programs offer many advantages:
- They contain all the information and specifications that architects, designers, engineers and builders use. Thus, all the specialists involved in the project use the same technical information.
- The content of the files is carried from one stage to the next, during the development of the project, so there is no loss of technical information and this ensures avoiding errors.
- It also greatly improves workflow and harmonizes collaboration between specialists from various disciplines involved in the development of the project.
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) software reduces design time, no matter how complex the job is. And it allows detailed and accurate estimation of costs and execution intervals.
GRAPHISOFT is a reference amongst the developers of software programs used by architects and designers in the digital design of buildings and constructions. And the ARCHICAD 22 software has the reputation of being the Building Information Modeling (BIM) standard. The multitude of tools and functions provided by GRAPHISOFT ARCHICAD 22 allows for easy and accurate design of complex structures and buildings.
The OPEN BIM platform was created by the leaders of the virtual design software manufacturers to provide free access to those who can develop the functions of these types of digital tools. OPEN BIM allows for interdisciplinary collaboration where architects, designers, engineers and builders continuously improve design programs, regardless of the specific software they use in their respective field. Therefore, OPEN BIM develops a common language that facilitates the evolution of design standards in this industry.
GRAPHISOFT has created the EcoDesigner STAR extension for the ARCHICAD program so architects can design multiple models and simulations to optimize the energy efficiency provided by building design. EcoDesigner STAR converts BIM (Building Information Models) projects designed with ARCHICAD into multiple BEM (Building Energy Models) thermal models.
